A small water to air heat exchanger, illustrating the use of extended surfaces (fins) as a means of improving the heat transfer to gases from tubes. A fan, powered from the H102 unit allows air to be heated by hot water from the H102 unit. The instrumentation on the H102 allows the heat transferred from the hot water to be measured and calculated. The air temperature rise across the heat exchanger is also recorded.
